Edmund Rice Education Australia - Flexible Learning Centre Network

The Edmund Rice Education Australia – Flexible Learning Centre Network (FLCN) is a people-centered educational network that caters mainly for marginalised youth. The FLCN is committed to helping students reach their goals by providing support and services such as small class sizes (average 10 per class), learning support, counselling, and Indigenous student support.

The FLCN is justice focused, inclusive and supportive learning environment which encourages students to reach their maximum academic potential. The FLCN offers the following support services:

Learning support

Learning support is available for all enrolled learners with literacy and numeracy difficulties.

Counselling

FLCN can offer support for Counselling services for vocational, educational and personal matters.

Disability services

FLCN provides support services and advice for learners with a disability.

Career support and school to work transition

Career and Transition officers are available at most delivery sites to provide support for learners seeking employment.

Indigenous student support

Indigenous student support officers at available to provide study support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people learners.

Language learning support

FLCN provide support for people from non-English speaking backgrounds.
